Ophelia is one of my favorite literary characters, and I utilized this surrealistic approach to capture some of her madness that classical artists didn't tend to touch upon in their portrayal of her. Flowers and her dress.. Drowning. The upside-down text describing words associated with the chaotic emotions of femininity, such as "Hysteria".. Falling up from the orchestrated symphony of space into the tumultuous sea..
